All About Bees
Bees are amazing insects that help our world. They are often yellow and black, and they have six legs and two sets of wings. Bees live in a special home called a hive. Inside the hive, they work very hard. Worker bees fly from flower to flower, collecting sweet liquid called nectar. They also collect pollen, which looks like yellow dust. Bees use nectar to make honey, which is food for them and for us! When bees visit flowers, they also help plants grow fruits and vegetables. Without bees, many plants would not grow.

"Not I," said the cat. "Not I," said the duck. "Then I will do it myself," said the Little Red Hen. And she did. When the wheat grew tall, she asked again, "Who will help me cut this wheat?" The dog, cat, and duck all said, "Not I!" So, the Little Red Hen cut the wheat all by herself.
