Busy Bees

Bees are small, buzzing insects, but they do a very big job! When a bee visits a flower to drink its sweet nectar, tiny yellow dust called pollen sticks to its body. As the bee flies to another flower, some of this pollen rubs off. This movement of pollen helps the plants make new seeds and fruits. Without bees, many of the fruits and vegetables we eat would not grow! So, the next time you see a bee, remember it's a helpful worker making our world a tastier place.
